My mom has been diagnosed with Progressive supranucular Palsy (PSP) and Corticobasal degeneration (CBD). It is a very rare neurodegenerative brain disease that affects a persons walking, balance, mobility, vision, speech, swallowing, and behavior. Because of this, mom's right side is weak. She can't open or close her hand when she wants to and sometimes her leg becomes frozen. She can walk with a walker but her movements are very slow. Our biggest challenge has been to try and lift her up and down out of a chair and or toilet. We were hurting ourselves, especially our backs and there was always the safety issue of her falling hard, either onto the floor or back into the chair. The day to day was becoming literally impossible. We want mom to live at home for as long as possible. So I began my on-line search for a lift assist seat. All of the seats I found just didn't look like they would work for Mom. Then I ran across the ProRise lift assist seat website. I was so excited by the innovative mechanics of it all. Here was a seat that not only would enable her to use her arms to actuate the seat and get her up but also allow for her to slowly set down without plopping or falling into the chair and possibly hurting herself. It just made so much sense! What a great website! ... Our thanks to you all. Sincerely,

Mom turned 95 this summer. We needed affordable assistive devices to help her independently get up and down from her chair. She has had two hip replacements and has very limited range of motion in her shoulders. She can put very limited weight on her arms in order to get in and out of a chair. The ProRise Seat assist gave us exactly what we were looking for. It allowed mom to get in and out of a chair independently and so very affordable. It allowed us to have more freedom to come and go knowing she was mobile.

Marvin Rosenthal made his career racing in the Baja 1000 beginning in 1972, during which time he was injured in four separate collisions and broke his back in four locations. This is his testimony.

…Good afternoon, my name is Marvin Rosenthal.  ‘Your newest fan.’  We met at the investors’ forum contest the other night, and, if you recall, everybody that used your method to get out of your chair was easily capable of it, but the only way I could get out of it was it was to grab it by the [extension handles at the] top, and I slid out of it easier than I slid out of any sitting position in 40 years, and I really like your chairs...

I was fortunate to participate in the early stage of ProRise®. What a great solution to the mobility challenge. The simplicity design of ProRise® did not sacrifice the quality of the functionality and yet enhance the durability. As the average age rose globally, product like ProRise® has tremendous potentials for profitability. With all the related products under development. Many great opportunities are forthcoming. When I demonstrated ProRise® to potential clients. After a brief orientation, they couldn’t wait to have a unit, the operation is intuitive and simple, and everyone that tried it is able to operate it with ease in their first few tries. I am excited to see that ProRise® is about to sold in U.S., I am eager to see how it will be able to help people all over to overcome their physical difficulties.

Having been in the field of Physical Therapy for several years I am convinced the ProRise® Chair could help many people regain their independence and improve their quality of life. Often I see that people are bound to their chair because they rely on assistance from others. The ProRise® chair’s lift mechanism will give people back their independence, mobility, and active lifestyle.

DreamProjX - ProRise® has developed the most innovative device I’ve seen in my half century of experience to assist people  who have difficultly arising from a seated position. It’s called ProRise® and it performs just as the name implies…allowing  a person to use their upper body to assist their legs to rise from a seated position.
